Edgecomb Potters has an amazing collection of beautifully crafted pieces that make wonderful gifts. Your loved ones will cherish our signature glazed pottery, unique jewelry and glass pieces, metal sculptures and more.
In the last few years, Richard had been developing a deep, black crystal glaze. The elements and the process to capture such dark crystals is a very precise and complex formula. After countless studio hours, hundreds of tweaks, failures, and smashed pieces, we are proud to announce our new glaze, November Night.
It's a long journey to create each piece of signature Edgecomb Pottery, from the carefully handcrafted form to the precision glazing and firing techniques. Each piece is unique and has it's own story to tell, like this gorgeous Ruffle Pasta Bowl.
We've spent 35 years mastering techniques and creating technologies. Here Rachel is using one of our Waterfall Glaze stations where all the spray that misses the platter is caught and then recycled back through our filtration system. We've been "Green" for 35 years developing processes like this one to ensure the beauty we draw inspiration from remains untouched.
Sushi has never looked so good. Our Square Plates & Serving Platters are a pleasure to eat off of, a delight to serve off of and a piece of cake to clean.
Don't just host a dinner, host an experience. Our Shell Collection brings incredibly gorgeous and unique pieces inspired by the gifts from the sea. Let your guests revel in your taste for food and your taste for beauty.
In 1976, Richard and Chris Hilton began building a dream of making pottery in a one-room schoolhouse on the road to Boothbay Harbor. Thirty years later, Edgecomb Potters has a national brand recognition for a high caliber of work with an inventive spirit.
